First Time Home Buyer:

If you are a first time home buyer, there is nothing to be confused of.  I have put together some information just for you.  If you have further questions or need my assistance, contact me and I will be happy to meet with you and we could do some questions and answers.   Most importantly is to assist you through this complicated process and find your dream home.

1.      See a mortgage lender and get a pre-approval of a home loan.  It is important for
you to understand why you should accomplish this very first step if you are serious of
buying your first home.  The reason for you to get a pre-approval of a home loan is
because you want to know where to start for your house hunting.  By completing this first
step, you are truly beginning your journey to find your first home.

2.      Make an appointment with me to get your questions and answers so you have the
         confidence in me.

3.      Understand the difference between a Condo, Townhouse, Single Family and
Multi-Unit Family Home.   Decide which is the best choice for your first home
         purchase.

4.      Make a list of what you would like to have in your first home.  For example:
                 -     3 bedrooms
                 -     2 baths
                 -     2 cars garage
                 -     1500 Sq. Ft. living area

5.      Research the neighborhoods and find out all the necessary information.  For example:
                 -     Schools
                 -     Beaches and Parks
                 -     Airports and Cultural Centers
                 -     Traffic and Freeways
                 -     Hospitals and Shops
                 -     Property Values
                 -     Police Precincts and Crime

6.      Remember, when you go to the open house, the listing agent works for the seller; not for
you.  When you look up houses on the internet and call the listing agent, the agent works
for the seller; not for you.  The listing agent owes the fiduciary duties to the seller.  His or
her loyalty is to the seller and not to you.  That is the reason why you should have your
own buyer's agent.  Call me and allow me to offer you my service.  I will advice you and
guide you to overcome the difficulties of this complicated process.   I will be your
REALTOR® and not just an agent.   I am more experienced and I have more resources
to assist you so everything will be a breeze for you.   In addition, I will negotiate to have
the seller pay for the commission and not you.  So why not let me be your REALTOR®.
